Very recently, I had my cards read for the first time by a real-life Southern Witch Doctor named Atticus Hob. Because I respect and believe in the Tarot, I have always wanted to have my cards read, and in the midst of a very stressful, sad, and overwhelming time, I decided to do it. I have realized that there are so many other ways for us to see and experience the world around us. My problem lately has been that I have such a hard time finding the good. In my brain, I know it's there, but my heart is only focusing on the darkness, the negative, the draining. For about a month now, I have been studying anything from Tarot and crystal healing to Wicca and psychic protection. And since I first picked up a piece of hematite just one month ago, everything in my life has changed. I'll not say that everything is perfect - things will never be perfect. However, I now know that there are resources to support and help me take my life back to a place of light and love.

Universal Waite Tarot Deck

This past weekend, I chose the Universal Waite Tarot deck to be the one I would learn the magic of Tarot with. I had always been interested in the Tarot due to it tradition and history. I remember trying to learn about the cards once before about ten years ago, but since I have always had such respect for it, I never really imagined that I had the skills to embrace the Tarot.
